It seems that every time someone messages me on IG, it automatically adds them as a contact. This really takes up a lot of space, and I get charged more and more every month as these are contacts that I don’t do anything with, unless they enter into my automation, but not all of these contacts are being automated. Would love to hear and see if there is a switch off BUTTON for adding a contact? Unless they enter through my automation. Thanks guys! :)

bottom line is YES, you can create an automation for keep it under control. unsuscribe them and keep only those you want according to your needs.. use TAGS and CONDITIONS

The ability to add contacts coming from instagram post might be useful if you want to attend everyone who drops a line.
I haven’t considered your point of you ;-( Of course these users are increasing your number of user.
Please let us know how you handle it.

When you create your flows you have the option to use CONDITIONS to check some information and also the possibility to TAG your contacts.. this screenshot is a basic example.. if you need help setting up a flow for you you may contact me to schedule a meeting..
You can create a rule to delete the contact after a certain amount of inactive time. You can use a tag to be able to divide it from those that you do not want to be automatically deleted and save the contact.
Found the setting and I’m not near the limit (yet), but this is very helpful.
