I am unable to configure the Goal Conversions API. I followed Manychat's step-by-step instructions to configure it, but every time I enter my Data Set ID and the Token generated by META, it always gives an error saying “Invalid conversion API credentials”. How to solve this problem?

HELP: Invalid Conversions API credentials (Facebook Ads)
I have followed the guide here https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14580897414300-Conversions-API-CAPI-integration
-Linked the Page I am using for the bot, to the ad account I am running with.
-Generated the cAPI API token.
And I still get “Invalid Conversions API credentials”
How to fix? Please advise
Same problem. This is just working with Instagram
Hi everyone
To successfully connect your Manychat account, the Conversion API token must be linked to the same Facebook or Instagram account as your Manychat account. This means both accounts must share the same Instagram account ID.
What this means in practical terms: if you have the @account1 Instagram account connected to MC and try to connect a token linked to @account2, the credentials will be considered invalid and connection will not be established or revoked (in the case you had an account connected with a valid token and disconnect it to switch to another later). However, if you try to connect a token linked to the IG @account2, the connection will be established successfully.
Hope this helps!

No, this doesnt help. You’re just repeating the same thing. I know that the accounts match but it’s still not working. what now?
Same here, anyone find the solution ?
It looks like a issue on their side. Connecting the IG page through CAPI works, but Messenger doesnt. They have to fix this asap tho...
I'm experiencing the same issue. Connecting the Instagram page through CAPI works, but Messenger doesn't. How can we finally resolve this?
by account2 do you mean FB account? assuming account1 is IG.
So if I get this right. you mean use the same API token as the IG account. and NOT the FB generated API key?
So I have disconnect both IG and Msngr, reconnected Msngr first, with success, but now IG is having the issue of not connecting
Has anyone successfully resolved this issue? Is there someone from ManyChat who can provide guidance?
Same issue here. I am logged with the same account on MC and FB but still got the error. Does the datasource need to be created with the same user ?
The recommendation infers that we all have Business Portfolios with multiple Instagram pages and accounts. I'm sure that's not the case for 90% of users reporting the same error.
To be clear, my commercial portfolio only has one facebook page and one Instagram account. Still, I get the invalid credentials message when I want to make the connection.
As the channel I want to connect is WhatsApp, the recommendation I received from support was to activate the automatic connection. By doing this, it created a new dataset different from the one I had previously created, something that I did not like at all.
I followed the documentation to the letter, and to be honest, going through it again and looking at other platforms' documentation regarding this. I must say that ManyChat's documentation feels incomplete.
And what to say about the integration as such, where it is not possible to designate a dynamic amount for the purchase event. Making it unfeasible to measure sales at all.
We urgently need the team to review and polish both the integration and the documentation. Lack of interest in this area only undermines the growth of the customers and the platform itself.
The Conversions API is increasingly relevant for measuring events, especially in the field of conversations, something ManyChat intends to leverage.
