Hi everyone 👋,
Usually, I’m the one helping others here with ManyChat setups, but today I really need your help.

Here’s the issue we’re facing:
👉 We’re running a WhatsApp campaign with CTWA Ads.
👉 From 1900 ad clicks, only 4 users actually reached the bot in ManyChat.
👉 The flow in ManyChat was set up with triggers: CTWA tied to each Ad ID and also keywords.
👉 The ad was created using a Frequently Asked Question template, with the instruction for users to click in order to start the conversation.

We’ve double-checked everything but still can’t find what’s wrong. We also submitted a support ticket to ManyChat, but haven’t received a reply yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar? 🙏
Any ideas on what we might be missing or how to fix this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

@cata_rendon I don’t have the answer for you here…

But, have you tried with a simpler message? Maybe just a text + call to action.

If I were a betting man, I’d make a wager on that there’s a limit on the number of messages you can send on a CTWA Ad, on the first messages.

And your structure of text + image + text with button may be more than what’s allowed.

Again, not sure if that’s the case here. But I’d definitely test it and see if it performs differently!

Hope this helps, and let us know the outcome here!! ;)

✅ In Ads Manager, make sure the CTA is set to “Send WhatsApp Message” (instead of FAQ default responses). FAQ templates often break the user journey since clicks don’t always trigger the bot.

Use the pre-filled message along with the Facebook Ad ID as keyword triggers in your chatbot flow.

If you need any further assistance, please share a screenshot of your Meta Ad Manager setup.
