I use Manychat for automated DMS only, i dont need or require to have a repository of my previous contacts, and im getting charged wayy too much money because i now have 5k+ contacts, I got charged $80+…. For my use case where i only need automated dms, is there a way to reduce the amount of subscribtion im paying?
Hello
The only way to reduce the number of active contacts is by unsubscribing them. To do this with your current list, go to the Contacts menu. You can apply a filter, such as contacts who have been subscribed for more than 30 days. If you use a specific channel, you might prefer to filter based on the contact's last interaction.
Be very careful here to avoid removing contacts who are currently engaged in conversations. Make sure to configure the filter correctly to display only the contacts you actually want to remove.
Once you have the filtered list, click the button to select all, and under Bulk Actions, choose whether you want to unsubscribe the contacts or delete them permanently. This will reduce the number of active contacts and, as a result, lower the amount charged.
Additionally, you can automate this process. You can create a flow with a date/time-based trigger. Just like in the previous example, you can use a date field as the filter—such as triggering the flow 30 days after the contact was added. The flow action can be either to unsubscribe or delete the contact. This way, you won’t have to do it manually anymore.
I can help you to set this process..feel free to contact me
