Subject: Duplicate Payment on April 18 - Request for Refund
Hello ManyChat Support Team,
I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to ask about two charges that occurred on April 18, 2024.
Here are the two payment records I found:
April 18: $19.24
April 18: $18.72
It seems that I was charged twice for the same 2,500 contacts plan upgrade. I didn't intend to purchase the same upgrade twice, and I believe this may have happened by mistake due to switching plans or refreshing the upgrade manually.
Could you please review my account and process a refund for the duplicate charge?
Thank you so much for your help and support!
Best regards,

Thank you, @minhye
Your invoice seems correct.
Your monthly subscription goes from April 11 to May 11, and during that time your plan was changed a few times. Each change triggers a recalculation, and Manychat refunds unused days and charges again based on the new plan.
Here’s what each line on your invoice means:
-$12.22 (credit) - PRO 500 contacts
This is a partial refund for unused days (from April 16 to May 11) after downgrading or switching.
This is a partial charge for using the 500 contacts plan from April 16 to April 18.
$15 ÷ 30 × 23 days = approx. $11.50
-$11.22 (credit) - PRO 500 contacts
This is a refund for unused time when that plan was cancelled again on April 18.
$20.37 (charge) - PRO 2500 contacts
This is a partial charge for using the 2500 contacts plan from April 16 to May 11.
$25 ÷ 30 × 24 = approx. $20.00
-$19.24 (credit) - PRO 2500 contacts
This is a refund for switching or cancelling the 2500 contacts plan on April 18. Covers approx. 23 days.
$18.70 (charge) - PRO 2500 contacts
This is another partial charge for resuming the 2500 contacts plan from April 18 to May 11.
$25 ÷ 30 × 22 = approx. $18.33
$25.00 (charge) - PRO 2500 contacts
This is the full monthly charge for your plan from May 11 to June 11.
My calculations have slightly different values because Manychat took the timing of the activity into account when calculating, and that detail isn’t reflected in my calculations.

@minhye Your subscription plan is based on how many contacts do you have in your Manychat account, and not how many messages you send. If, after June 11, your number of contacts is 500 or less, you’ll pay $15. If not, you’ll pay accordingly.
