I previously was able to connect my accounts. The website looked totally different. Now when i login it take me to the app that doesnt have a side bar the the ai chat bot reffers to. I cannot access any settings. I keep going in cirlce to connect my account and then it says its connected and then it says a request was sent. Did something happen to the website is this a back end issue? Why did my account disconnect itsef? I got an email to reconnect it but it stilll just takes me in the same circles. This is so frustrating that you cant call someone

    This is a known Meta OAuth issue that's been plaguing ManyChat users since Meta deprecated the old Instagram OAuth API in 2024. You're stuck in the classic "Request Sent" loop.

    Here's the workaround that's been working:

    1. When you get to the OAuth permission screen, look at the URL

    2. Replace every instance of "IG" with "FB" (except in the config section)

    3. Paste the modified URL back into your browser

    4. Try connecting again

     

    If that doesn't work:

     - Go to Instagram Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Active → Remove ManyChat completely

    - Clear your browser cache entirely

    - Try reconnecting with the modified URL method above

    The bad news: This is a Meta-side issue they're "working on" but there's no ETA for a fix. Multiple users have been stuck in this loop for weeks.

    If the workaround doesn't solve it and ManyChat support can't help, there are other Instagram automation tools out there if you need to get back online quickly.
