I have a client who would like to know how much revenue for her business has come from the Manychat automations that I built for her.

I know this can be done via the Manychat Pixel and logging money events.

But I am unsure how reliable the pixel is - so I am also wondering if this could also be tracked via a Make scenario instead?

ie When ‘this purchase’ is made in Shopify, check for “this button click” in Manychat - and if so send a conversion event back to Manychat and log the revenue.

Would love any thoughts about which might be easier and more reliable - and possible!

Thx

@Mel E integrating the Pixel in Shopify is quite a challenge (or maybe even impossible - I tried a while back and just gave up on it!)

If your client is using Google Analytics, using UTM links could be a fast and straightforward way to attribute sales and get attribution. It’s not going to show up in Manychat, but Shopify and Google Analytics will pick up the traffic source.

You can also use the email client to track, if you’re capturing emails in Manychat and sending it to the email software. If you do that, you can track which emails were captured in Manychat and later ended up purchasing.

Hope this helps!
