I’m trying to trigger purchase events via the CAPI integration in WhatsApp.

But I’m unable to dynamically set the purchase amount, there is no option to add a custom field. So this kills any chance to track sales in Meta Ads with accurate data.

It would be really helpful to be able to put a dynamic value (custom field) in the amount field of the Conversion Event. Again, I’m talking about the CAPI here.

Thank you for your time and support!

Did u solve some way?

Sadly, the only workaround is to set a generic amount. Is super weird and not cool for smart conversion tracking through CAPI.

@NamiFromManychat hi Nami!

I’d like to bring your attention to this feature request, right now, Conversion API by Meta is one of the most important features to optimize and get the most out of our advertising campaigns. In short, this is what enable us marketers to track conversions through conversations, whenever it’s a lead or a purchase.

Right now, ManyChat allows to send Purchase event through CAPI, with the limitation that we need to set a FIXED conversion value. This is less than ideal, every order is dynamic, prices for different products and order amounts change constantly.

We need ManyChat to enable us to print a dynamic value through a Custom Field, which is actually the only update you need to make in order for users to send this dynamic data back to Meta Ads.

This will help us improve and optimize our advertising campaigns.
