To have a grace period when billing fails.

All business software have a grace period for billing, to allow the admins to add alternative payment methods if the billing fails for whatever reason.

This is necessary to avoid service interruptions.

Ideally we’d have:

  • Failed billing - notification email (PRO service continues to work)
  • More billing attempts over at least a 3-4 day period - send an email on each failed attempt (PRO continues to work)
  • After several billing attempts, service is downgraded to FREE service (with notification email)

If not possible, an alternative would be to allow us to add alternative payment methods (a 2nd or 3rd card) so if the first method fails Manychat can try the other cards.

This is very much needed!

I run dozens of bots and sometimes for whatever reason, the payment fails… And suddenly everything fails.
This “confuses” not only chatbot creators, but also advertising agencies and their clients and of course the chatbot users themself.

Please improve the information flow to the admins about this and improve the overall handling like described by Gustavo 🙏

I’m new to Manychat, was running 1 production client on it where the client changed his credit card with the bank, so the automation stopped working and both me (the account admin) and the client received zero notifications, zero e-mails from Manychat informing it.

4 business days of blindness until I noticed it by myself. Embarrassing situation to explain to the client as I am the service and maintance provider.

A grace period or a simple app/e-mail notification would be a mind relief to put more production clients on it.

Nossa como estou sofrendo com isso.

Precisa urgente de uma atenção MAIOR NESSE ERRO.

I suffer from this. Every time it fails, people who need to chat lose access, which is only released after I manually change it.
