Big Update: You can now process images, audios and videos in WhatsApp (yes, finally!)

We’ve been waiting for this for a while… and it’s finally here.

Manychat now gives you access to media file URLs when a user sends an image, video or audio on WhatsApp — even out of the blue (default reply style).

That means:

You can now process those files with AI.

You don’t need to manually review inboxes anymore.

You can fully automate things that were impossible before.

We’ve already tested this with GPT:

Spot devices, screens, contracts, and more

Transcribe audios using Make + OpenAI

This is a game-changer for WhatsApp, especially since users love to send voice notes and random photos instead of typing
