Issue with TikTok Default Reply Automation

I am writing to you regarding a problem I'm facing with the "Default Reply" automation for my connected TikTok account.

When I message my business TikTok account from another account to test the automation, the custom reply I have set up is not being sent. Instead, the only message that appears is your default one: "Automation powered by Manychat 🐙".

I have already confirmed all the required settings and have taken the following steps to try and resolve the issue, without success:

  1. My TikTok account is a Business Account and it is connected correctly.

  2. Automatic messages are completely disabled in the native TikTok app settings.

  3. I have used the "Refresh Permissions" feature in Manychat several times, but the problem still persists.

Even though all the settings appear to be correct, my custom Default Reply is not working.

Could you please investigate on your end to see what is causing this issue and help me resolve it?

As for your issue: did you check that the default reply is set to trigger always? And did you try with simpler messages (maybe using shorter text, removing images, etc)? This could help you debug and find what the issue might be.
