My Manychat Origin Story:
I discovered Manychat back in 2022 while trying to streamline conversations on my small business page. I was overwhelmed by DMs, late-night questions, and the constant fear of missing leads. A friend suggested Manychat and said, “Trust me, this will change how you work.” Spoiler: It did.
I started slow, building a few basic flows. But once I saw my first keyword-triggered automation fire off while I was asleep—and wake up to three new leads—I knew this wasn’t just a tool. It was magic.

I believe I found Manychat when seeing a bunch of other people say  “comment (specific word or emoji) for (special bonus).” I then started seeing Manychat on some YouTube channels I follow and decided to dive in. I believe this was just last year, so I’m fairly new to the Manychat game. 

For me, I use it to get newsletter subscribers (using a lead magnet), or to get people to purchase new music products or to attend events I’m hosting. 

I definitely need to dive in more with Manychat features before your next birthday!

Não sei como vivi antes de conhecer o Manychat.

Muito antes de eu estudar de fato sobre automações, o Manychat já era meu parceiro fiel — nas Lives, nos comentários dos posts da minha antiga loja… Foi lá em 2021, quando quase ninguém falava sobre automação e IA, que o Manychat me abriu os olhos para esse universo e despertou em mim o desejo de aprender novas habilidades. Isso transformou minha forma de trabalhar e criou oportunidades reais para viver uma vida melhor.

Hoje, com minha empresa de Growth Marketing há 7 meses e como parceira/afiliada da marca, sou imensamente grata por tudo o que o Manychat tem proporcionado — não só para profissionais de tech e publicidade, mas para pequenos empreendedores que agora têm acesso a ferramentas que antes pareciam inalcançáveis.

Parabéns e vida longa ao Manychat!

Well, for me I heard about ManyChat in 2017 from a colleague and I registered an account and explored it on my own. It was already very easy to use back then. I created many flows and connected it easily to my FB pages. After a few testing on my own, I started implementing it for my clients for lead nurturing. 

From lead nurturing slowly expanded to more and more ideas. Users can buy products from the chatbot and make the payment instantly. Even while sleeping sales and leads are coming in. From button style to making use of conditions to filter what people say to react accordingly. Even though there was no AI back then, my bots can react base on what the user wanted rather than clicking on buttons here and there. 

I was from a totally different background before jumping into the chatbot world and became a bot expert from 0 because of ManyChat. The ease of use empowered me to start and I never looked back since. 

The magic moments are obviously when users tell me how good my bots are and some are even surprised that they were talking to a bot.

I love ManyChat’s AI step, it was a big improvement. I hope ManyChat can continue to improve the AI function and eventually allow bot builders and all MC users the capability to build their own knowledge base for the AI. In terms of ease of use, no other competitors out there outshine MC, I know because I use MANY platforms to build my bots now. I hope MC could maintain this user friendliness no matter what other new features you want to introduce.

I can of course get the AI to write you a poem or even a song but I just wanna be human here and wish ManyChat happy birthday. Thank you for being so friendly that a person with 0 knowledge can eventually become an automation consultant. The journey are full of ups and downs but I’ve learned a lot from MC and my clients to build bots not only to cater to the business needs but also think from the user’s perspective who uses the bot.

How I discovered Manychat...

I found out about Manychat just a few months ago, in 2025. I was looking for a way to automate my Instagram communication and make things easier and more efficient. I first heard about the platform through ALPI, a Ukrainian educational project where I’m currently studying automation.
Now I’m diving deeper into automation and growing my brand, and Manychat has become an essential part of my creative toolkit. I’m really glad I discovered it!
