I’m new to ManyChat - I’ve set up my first automation on Facebook and Messenger, but the the trigger is not firing upon activation. Facebook is hiding the comments with the trigger word I’ve chosen.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I can’t confirm that the hidden comments are what’s stopping the trigger, so I’d test that first. Change the keyword to a simple neutral word and comment from a personal profile that hasn’t tested it yet. If that comment stays visible and the automation fires, the problem is with the original word.
If it still doesn’t fire, I’d check these:
- The post is an original one uploaded directly to the Page, not a repost.
- The Page has no age or country restrictions.
- The first message is marked as a comment reply, and the automation and trigger are Live.
