Handling deleted contacts

I’m trying a Make scenario that’s supposed to check if a contact exists, and if not - create it.
It created it just find the first time, then I changed something and wanted to check again, so I deleted the contact.

The problem is that now Make still finds the contact, with status “deleted”, so it won’t create a new one, but also won’t let me send anything to the contact, because of its status. I can’t change the status, because the contact doesn't show up in my “Contacts” tab.

Is there a way to actually delete a contact completely, or at least restore a deleted contact?

Hello @Tal O!

The issue here is likely related to how the search step is configured inside your Make scenario. If Make is still returning a result or preventing a new contact from being created, it usually comes down to the specific parameters or filters being used to search for the contact.

Could you share how your search module in Make is set up? Specifically, which parameter or field are you using to look up existing contacts?

If you can post a screenshot of your Make scenario flow (especially the search module setup and any filter rules you have configured) that would help a lot in identifying what is causing this.
