How to get first clients, when I'm just starting out

Hey guys, I've build some simple automations for myself and a couple of people I know. I've managed 4 accounts in total and now I want to offer ManyChat automations as a service. Ho do I get first paying customers, when I have intermediate skills and small accounts in portfolio (2k to 12k followers)? I've noticed that advanced ManyChat automations make sense mainly for accounts with 20k+ followers. Ideally they should also use CRMs and mailing lists. But how do I get to these clients, when I still work on my credibility as a consultant? Where do I find the "early adopters", who'll take a leap of faith with me? Could you share some tips based on your experience as a consultant/agency? Appreciate it a lot! Cheers, Ivan

Hey @van_kovaleff I started my ‘on my own’ path by looking at who I knew who would be willing to take a bet on me, and offering them work based on results!

My first ‘client’ was a motorcycle shop owned by a high school friend’s parent. I built him what was necessary for free; he paid for the software and ad costs. And I’d take a commission when he sold a motorcycle from what I’d built.

One week later he’s sold the first one and I had a commission to collect. So that was my first ‘paycheck’!

The easiest way to start for me is to look through people who you already know, who fit your customer (ie you know you can help them), and would be willing to take a leap of faith because they already trust you!

Once you have your first success you can use that as your case study and go from there.
