Instagram Follow to DM / Say Hi to New Followers not working

Hello ManyChat Support,

I'm experiencing an issue with both "Say Hi to New Followers" and the Follow Gate inside a Comment-to-DM automation.

Before contacting support, I completed all the recommended troubleshooting steps:

• Reconnected Instagram using the new Unified Instagram Onboarding.
• Refreshed Instagram permissions successfully.
• Confirmed my Instagram account is a Professional account.
• Confirmed the automation is Live.
• Configured "Say Hi to New Followers" with a 5-minute delay.
• Waited more than 10 minutes after following.

To rule out any contact or automation limitations, I also performed the following test:

• Created a completely new Instagram account.
• The account had never followed my profile before.
• It had never commented on any post.
• It had never sent me a DM.
• It had never received any ManyChat automation.
• It simply followed my Instagram account.
• I waited more than 10 minutes.

Result: No welcome DM was sent.

I also tested the Follow Gate inside a Comment-to-DM flow. After following my account and pressing the "Following" button, the automation never continued.

During my investigation, I found multiple discussions in the ManyChat Community where other users report the same issue. I also found responses from ManyChat moderators mentioning:

• The feature is still in beta.
• Meta-side issues are affecting Follow to DM.
• There have been official incidents regarding delays and failures in FTDM automations.

Because I've already completed all the recommended troubleshooting steps and reproduced the issue with a completely clean Instagram account, I'd appreciate it if you could review my account specifically instead of sending the standard troubleshooting guide.

Could you please verify:

1. Is my Instagram account fully enabled for the Follow to DM beta?
2. Is ManyChat receiving the new follower events from Meta for my account?
3. Are there any backend issues affecting my account?
4. Does the Follow Gate rely on the same "new follower" event as "Say Hi to New Followers"? If so, could this explain why both features are failing?
