Hello ManyChat Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with Instagram Comment Automation that has existed since the very beginning. It has never worked, even once.
When someone comments with the correct keyword:
The trigger is activated.
The Flow starts and completes successfully.
Every step, including the Send Instagram Message action, is marked Completed (green) in the Automation History.
However, the user never receives the Instagram DM.
I have already checked and tested the following:
My Instagram account is a Professional account.
It is properly connected to a Facebook Page.
Instagram and Facebook permissions are enabled.
The automation is published and active.
The keyword is correct.
I disconnected and reconnected Instagram.
I created a brand new Flow with only a Comment Trigger and a simple “Send Instagram Message” action.
I tested with a different Instagram account.
The issue is exactly the same every time.
Since the Flow completes successfully but no DM is ever delivered, could you please investigate my account and server logs?
If this is an issue on ManyChat or Meta’s side, please fix it. If the problem is caused by a configuration or requirement on my side, please let me know exactly what needs to be changed so I can resolve it.
This issue has existed since the first day I connected my Instagram account to ManyChat.
