Hello,

i am a Pro customer (€39,49/month).

My account reached 2500/2500 Active Contacts.

I deleted many contacts, but the Active contacts counter still shows 2500/2500.

New Instagram contacts are not receiving automations anymore.

Can you please explain:

  1. When do deleted contacts free up Active contact slots?
  2. Do I have to wait until my billing date (June19)?
  3. Why does the counter remain at 2500 after deleting contacts?

Account ID: fb4863679

I do not speak English, Please answer as simply as possilble.

Thank you.

Hi Nicole, short answers:

1. Deleting contacts does not free Active Contact slots this month. Anyone active during this billing cycle counts for the whole cycle, even after you delete them. The counter cannot be reset by hand.

2. Yes. Your Active Contacts reset to zero at the start of your next billing cycle (June 19). After that, only contacts active in the new cycle count.

3. It stays at 2500 because it counts everyone your bot interacted with this cycle, not how many contacts you have stored now. Deleting them does not remove them from this  month's count.

One important thing: normally ManyChat keeps automations running past the limit (with small overage charges), so if your new Instagram contacts have completely stopped, that is not the usual behavior. Send ManyChat support your Account ID (fb4863679) and ask them to check why new contacts are not receiving automations. If you need it fixed before  June 19, upgrading your plan raises the limit right away.
