Add their name to an opening DM

Yes, you can definitely do that. When editing the message inside your flow, you can insert system variables to display the user's name automatically.

Simply click inside the text box where you want the name to appear, click the variable icon, and select First Name or Full Name from the list. Manychat will automatically replace that tag with the user's actual name when the message is sent.
