Hey guys, is it possible that I can manually add a tag to multiple contacts and that will work as a trigger for my new automation flow. Actually we are providing a free demo session, so for the people who registered and joined the demo session online and I want to send them the message.

As manychat won’t be able to know who joined and who did not (atleast without the Zoom API and I don’t want to dig deeper for now as it is our first time), I am thinking to manually add the tag to the ones who joined. Now that “Tag is applied to a Contact” will work as a trigger and the automation message is sent to them automatically and the flow is being continued.

I tried this… but it is not working. I have checked all the basic things to make sure I am not doing some mistake.

Hey, @umangrawat00

Unfortunately, there is no way to do so. You’ll need to add a tag manually and individually to make sure that the trigger is activated.

You can check this info here: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281170185628-How-to-set-custom-rules-with-Triggers-Conditions-and-Actions#h_01JC6EAA0CM0KYX6FX2GSBWWZS
