Ads Trigger Issue - with Follow Condition

I’m trying to setup an Instagram and a FB Ad Trigger that is based on the conditions of following both respective channels. I believe the triggers need to be live before I can connect the Ads Manager to ManyChat, but I keep getting weird setup errors like “You can’t use Next Step for the first message with Facebook Ads trigger” and “Add at least one Quick Reply to the first message to set up Instagram Ads”.

I’ve tried troubleshooting these by redoing the flow from scratch, but it’s just not working.

    ​@aniyaray1 there are special rules for messages used in ads and certain triggers. If you don’t follow the rules, you get these errors.

    Could you share a screenshot of your setup?

    ​@aniyaray1 ok, the ‘Next Step’ on the Facebook automation will not work, you’ll need to disconnect that to turn it on. You need to remove that and re-do your automation for this to work and be able to make it live.

    The IG version should be ok though and you should be able to publish it.
