Here’s how it works:
You need to set a delay between 30 minutes and 24 hours. Whenever your agent sends a manual message, automations will be paused for at least 30 minutes. This setting is fixed and cannot be changed.
I believe this is designed to ensure that no automated messages are accidentally sent while an agent is actively interacting with a lead.
As mentioned, the default settings cannot be modified, but the agent can manually adjust them from the lead's profile during the conversation.
For example, after finishing the conversation, the agent can click the "Automations" button and then select "Restart automations." This will immediately resume the automated messages.
Additionally, if preferred, the agent can also choose to pause automations permanently.
