All of a sudden Manychat stopped sending DM's based on Facebook page comments (after Monetization?)

Dear All

I have searched the forum and asked the AI’s here and there - but can’t seem to find the reason why my automation on Facebook has stopped.

One clue though - someone is mentioning that they experienced it after applying for Meta Monetisation - I did that also - probably around the time it stopped working.

But I don’t know if I am chasing shadows of if this is the real beef. - I can’t find much about this elsewhere.

Do any of you know about this being an issue?

Thank you

Hey Matt
Thank you for taking the time to answer me.
I have figured it out - that all my automations made via the ManyChat app for Facebook is dead on arrival - and what I need to do (after having created them) is to log in via a desktop browser and refresh the Facebook permission to have the activate (behind the scenes).

Would love to have a refresh permission option from the app - or even better; not have to refresh the permission, every time I make changes in the app :-D

So a working work-around -

Note To Self: Have claude running as an agent “at home” doing the refresh if needed :-D

As far as I know, there’s no connection between monetisation and messaging, but there’s always something new going on with Meta that might be a problem.. to give an example, I have a client that has a restriction on comenting and sharing.. that made connection with Manychat impossible.. it blocks meta API and then Manychat does not work.

Sorry for not having a good answer right now.. check your permissions on your facebook profile and page..
