Ridiculous issue here. 

.I have many automations, most of them are messaged then choices for customers to flow through.

 

Example: 

Message 1: Hey, how are you?

Message 2 : What can we help you with? 

Message 3 : Tap one of the options below 

Need help - talk to a human - what's your price

 

Get it? 

 

So the issue is, suddenly all automations on WhatsApp are not sending message 3. 

 

Basically, any message with a button is not sent. Live chat shows it sent, but it does not go to the user. Have tested with 5 contacts and 3 of my own numbers. 

 

Refreshed permissions etc. What's going on?

Are users receiving this message with a button on the WhatsApp mobile app? On some devices, such as the WhatsApp desktop app for Windows, WhatsApp does not display messages with buttons. Instead, it shows a notice saying the content cannot be displayed on that device — similar to the example below:


If that’s not the case, and users are simply not receiving anything — and this only happens with messages that include buttons — I recommend reaching out to the Manychat support team for assistance, as this seems unusual.
I’ve just tested it here, and messages with buttons are being sent normally.


No. Nothing shows. The entire message doesn't send. So in my example, the entire message 3 just doesn't send. 

This is the 2nd time this month this app has critically affected my business. First time was down for a 1 week as they silently launched "co existence" but didn't tell their existing customers that were already using it that it could cause problems. 

 

Went on vacation and came back to see that no automations ran because they decided to completely change the backend. 

 

This is starting to feel like a hacked together service rather than a reliable service. 


You can contact the Manychat support team so they can check what’s going on.
Alternatively, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting WhatsApp.

Hello, I'm experiencing the same issue since yesterday 08/19th 11PM, were you able to fix it?


Same problem here since yesterday…. 


No can't fix it.

Manychat confirmed it's an issue on Metas end but their uptime status still shows 100%. They haven't sent an email announcement, or a blog announcement. Nor are they sharing any timelines for a fix. 

What a joke of a service...


Same problem here. 


They have updated the status uptime now as 3rd party WhatsApp API issue.

Almost a full 24 hours with no automations working. My customers are confused. My team is working to reply to all customers manually. 

 

The automations are running but sending only blocks without buttons thus adding to the confusion. 

 

Manychat says no refund since this is "not a widespread issue" 

 

Losing hope for this service..
