I’m a marketing manager and I’m looking for help with organizing incoming messages while using the new Follow-to-DM feature.
I want to enable this feature, but I’m concerned about how it will affect my client’s inbox. My client receives a high volume of new followers every day, and if each follow triggers a DM, it will flood the Primary inbox and push our active conversations and leads further down.
Ideally, I would like all Follow-to-DM messages to be automatically routed to the General tab instead, so we can keep our active leads and important conversations easily visible in the Primary inbox.
Is there a way to set this up inside ManyChat, or a recommended workflow to prevent Follow-to-DM messages from overwhelming the main inbox?
Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
