Auto-DM links from comments not working on any of my new posts

A few things to check:

1. New posts aren't automatically included - go to your comment trigger and make sure it's set to "Any post." If it's specific posts, you need to manually add each new post after publishing.

2. Refresh Meta permissions - Settings → Instagram → "Refresh Permissions." Fixes most trigger issues even when the account shows connected.

3. One trigger per user per post - Instagram only fires the automation once per user per post. If someone already commented before, it won't re-trigger for them.

4. Known ongoing issue - there are active reports from January 2026 of comment-to-DM only triggering 1 in 20 times on ManyChat. This is a Meta/ManyChat side issue, not your setup.

If refreshing permissions doesn't fix it, contact ManyChat support and reference the ongoing comment trigger reliability issue, they're aware of it.

Hi ​@Calisoma_ , it is not normal that all your automations does not work, probably you lost connection of your account.

Here are a few things I’d recommend double-checking:

1. Instagram permissions A quick fix that often helps is refreshing your Instagram permissions in ManyChat.
   You can do this by going to your ManyChat account and clicking Help → Refresh Permissions.
2. Follow the official IG automation troubleshooting guide

3. Check for platform-wide issues
   Sometimes this is related to a temporary issue on Instagram or ManyChat’s side. You can check the current system status here:

4. One-time trigger behavior
   Just as a reminder, Instagram comment automations only trigger once per user per post. If the same user commented again, the automation would not fire a second time.
