I set up an Auto DM on my boosted post that I boosted through the instagram app, it’s a post that is on my feed. The manychat automation worked fine yesterday, even after boosting, but now it is not working at all. I have refreshed permissions, deleted it and re-set it up. Yet, it’s still not working. Help! I’m trying to get class sign ups and it’s time sensitive!
This is a known issue with boosted posts. The "Specific Post" trigger doesn't work with boosted posts due to Meta's API restrictions, it's not a ManyChat bug.
Two workarounds:
1. Use "All Posts" instead of "Specific Post" - This option works with boosted posts, but requires ManyChat Pro.
2. Create the ad in Ads Manager instead of boosting through Instagram - Use the Instagram Ads Trigger with an Engagement campaign and "Send Instagram message" CTA. This gives you proper automation support.
The fact it worked yesterday then stopped is weird, sometimes there's a delay before Meta's ad system fully takes over the post. Try the "All Posts" option if you have Pro, that should work immediately.

Have you been able to solve this issue?
Using the trigger “an user comments on post/reel” should be working with boosted posts and if it doesn’t, in most of the cases is a permissions problem.
