I just set up the automatic DM messages that are sent to new followers, but no messages are being sent. I already refreshed the permission from Instagram, but this doesn't help either. Can someone maybe help me further? The new followers are also not followers who followed me before, but genuinely new followers.

It is worth noting that this specific feature is still in Beta, which means it can occasionally present some instabilities or unexpected behavior.
If you check the Manychat Status page, there is currently an identified incident regarding delays and failures specifically affecting the "New Follower" trigger: https://status.manychat.com/
This is a brand-new functionality being developed through a close partnership between Manychat and Meta. Since it is in its early stages, a lot of the performance depends on Meta's internal API developments. For now, it is best to view this feature as an experimental "extra." While it is great when it works perfectly, the current phase means we might encounter these periods of instability where there is not much that can be done manually.
If the issue persists long after the issue at Manychat Status is gone, and you believe it is outside of these known status updates, you can open a ticket to the support team: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281086345244-How-to-get-support-from-Manychat

I am having the same issue! I’ve been trying to get help from the AI bot but everything it tells me to do is already done / set up correctly. I am on the free/basic package which I think should still work, but my automation isn’t working!
