I’m having a very random issue with a particular automation, and what’s even more random is it happens sometimes whilst other times not. I have a system set up where people can ask me for a free guide by saying GUIDE. They’ll immediately receive a link to my guide if they’re following, and if they’re not, they’ll get another message asking to follow me before the guide is sent. As soon as they click following, the automation asks them to follow me, again. So they click following and, once again, they’re sent another message asking to follow me. By then, they leave the chat (obviously...)
Any idea why this is happening? It doesn’t happen to everyone! Which is even weirder….

Of course. Thank you! There are 2, set up exactly the same. One for DM’s, one for comments. I’ve also sent one of what actually happens…

- They still don’t follow you: it’ll only give them the link if they actually follow you.
- They’re following you, and Manychat isn’t picking it up: in which case you’d have to open a ticket with Manychat.
I’d check if they’re following you. And if they are, you’ll need to contact suport.
