Automation not responding to comments

I’m having a similar issue and it’s really annoying!

In my case, the first automated msg is sent, but then it ends.  It worked fine for a few people, but not for the majority.   The get help function is not visible - perhaps as I’m on a trial period, but this is making me consider whether or not its worth the money!

1. Instagram permissions
   You already mentioned you refreshed permissions, which is usually a quick fix, but since it didn’t work in your case, we can rule that out for now.

4. One-time trigger behavior
   Just as a reminder, Instagram comment automations only trigger once per user per post. If the same user commented again, the automation would not fire a second time.

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with Instagram automation and would really appreciate your help.

My setup:

• Using ManyChat for Instagram comment automation

• DM is getting triggered perfectly when users comment

• But the auto reply to comments is not showing up under the post/reel

I’ve already checked:

• “Reply to Comment” option is turned ON

• Keywords are set correctly (with variations)

• Instagram account is properly connected

Still, only DM works and comment replies are not going through.

Has anyone faced this issue recently?
Is this due to Instagram limits or something I might be missing in setup?

Would really appreciate any guidance 🙏

Seems to be an ongoing issue, several other people in this community brought up this problem recently as well. Likely a Meta or Manychat issue, nothing on your side you can do 

Hi ​@Abirami , please take into account comment automation only works with organic posts, it does not work on paid ads - just in case this is your issue -.

Also bear in mind regarding the “One-time trigger behavior” : Instagram comment automations only trigger once per user per post. If the same user commented again, the automation would not fire a second time.
