Automation not working on paid partnerships

Hi all,

Is anyone else having an issue with their automations this morning? I have a post that has gone live for a paid partnership and the automation is not triggering.

  1. pls check if you have "Allow access to messages" enabled on your IG profile.

Please let me know if this was the issue.

 

  1. Refresh Permissions
  2. Are you using the pro or free plan of Manychat? If you have free plan you can check limitation here: https://manychat.com/pricing

Hi Gosia,

Thanks for taking the time to help. We discovered it was due to the post being age gated for 21+, and Many Chat does not work for posts with an age restriction. Annoying, but at least we got to the bottom of it! Thanks again.

      Hey, @NatBAust 

       

      It’s not possible to activate an automation if the post/reel doesn’t belong to your account. You must be the creator for the automation to work.

        It’s not possible to activate an automation if the post/reel doesn’t belong to your account. You must be the creator for the automation to work.

        Thanks for the information and taking the time! The reel did belong to my account, we discovered it was due to the post being age gated for 21+, and Many Chat does not work for posts with an age restriction. Annoying, but at least we got to the bottom of it!

        i am a paid subscriber but after i give “ Allow access to messages” also my automation is not working its in live only
