Automation triggering twice

I’m running ads through meta and have integrated manychat- I love it but I have noticed duplicate messages sending. I think it’s when they go out and come back in or press the ad twice as in my dm’s it appears that way so then the flow is being triggered multiple times. I’ve tried to find the answer here but very confused so any help is appreciated! I’ve seen mention of a tag and condition but confused where to put this as the ad trigger has to start with a message? I’ve attached some of the response examples and my current automation!

    Hi Cass,

    One solution that i started doing on my accounts is adding a condition right after the first message node. That condition checks if a specific tag is applied (eg LETSDOTHIS tag), and only advances if it IS NOT applied (will be everyone first time around) and then right after that condition have a action node that adds that tag, so in case when somebody presses the button twice, they won’t get a double message

    As ​@josip856 mentioned, you can use a condition block and a tag to prevent this.

    Build something like this right after your first message:
