I just signed into my Manychat account to edit a few flows, and noticed that a few of them had a ‘lock symbol on and this message ‘This item is a part of a locked Template which means it is locked from viewing and editing by the Template owner’. They’re all ‘auto DM links from comments’ automations.
Any suggestions on how to edit these or do I need to recreate them all from scratch?

When a template has a lock symbol, that means you can’t edit it. So, if you want to use it, you have to replicate it (do it from scratch).

Thanks. Any reason why these flows have been editable for months, and now they’re not? Almost all my flows are created from ManyChat’s ‘auto DM links from comments’ template. So going forward if I use that template will I not be able to edit my flows after they’ve been created?

For some free templates, made by Manychat, go Home → Explore templates and choose one that fit your needs. These templates are editable.
Thanks for the fast reply. So in your screenshot there, I’ve only always used ‘Auto-DM links from comments’ template, and that’s what is showing up as locked now.

Those symbols are shown when you install a template from another account.
I did a test on my account with the template you mentioned and seems ok. No symbols.
