Book Launch Event: How to do Post-24-Hour Follow-Ups in Manychat

Hey ManyChat Community ​@Gustavo Boregio :))

I’m setting up a flow for an upcoming book launch and would love some advice on the best compliant strategy for post-24-hour follow-ups.

I’ve heard you can collect an opt-in during the pre-launch phase so you can send a promotional reminder closer to launch day. Is this done through Marketing Messages (Recurring Notifications), or is there another approach you’d recommend?

I’d love to hear how you typically structure this in ManyChat for a book launch. Thanks so much! 🙌

Short answer: no, you won’t be able to do it in Messenger or Instagram.

Marketing Messages on Messenger are not available for EU - details here: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/24351480518684-Marketing-Messages-on-Messenger

Your only options are WhatsApp or SMS (and Email).

I’d do a funnel where it started in Instagram/Messenger, you capture their Phone, and send notifications and updates through WhatsApp.

    What channel will you be using for this? Messenger?

    And I see you’re in South Africa. Will you be using WhatsApp? Is your audience in South Africa, or do you have many people from the US?

    Thanks ​@Gustavo Boregio I am in South Africa yes, but it is for a German audience. We use both IG and FB Messenger. Is there a way to set this up for Germany? Thank you!!
