Bug -- ManyChat Not Connecting To Kit

Is anyone else running into this issue where your Kit connections no longer work inside of ManyChat? I rely on this integration to get emails from ManyChat to Kit…. but I keep getting a “Something Is Wrong” red alert on the bottom right every time I try to paste in a refreshed API secret from Kit in the integrations tab. I’ve tried hard refreshing and going in Incognito mode too, but no luck. 

I don’t want to post any content for me or any of my clients without ensuring that I can reliably collect emails from Instagram, so this is crucial.

    This "Something Is Wrong" alert usually points to a temporary sync glitch between Manychat and Kit, or hidden spacing formatting issues when pasting the key...

     

    Try this (possible) troubleshooting steps:

    • Disconnect and wait: Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Kit in Manychat, click Disconnect, wait about 5 minutes, and then try reconnecting.

    • Generate a new key: Log into Kit, go to Settings > Developer tab, and generate a brand-new API Secret to replace the existing one.

    • Check formatting: Ensure there are no accidental spaces or line breaks copied before or after the API Secret string when pasting it into Manychat.
