Hi team! I'm using the AI Step on Instagram Direct with the Manychat AI add-on activated. I’d like to know if there’s a way to add delays between AI-generated responses to make them feel more natural and human — as if the assistant is taking time to type each part.
I’m also wondering if it’s possible to enable the “typing…” effect (typing indicator) within the AI Step, or if that only works with regular message blocks.
I’ve already tested using a Smart Delay after the AI Step, but that only works between blocks, not within a single AI response that has multiple sentences.
So my main question is:
Is there any way to insert delays and typing effects between phrases generated by the same AI Step?
