Can Not Add Client Many Chat Account to My Own

​@reason if you can’t access the previous Manychat account, contact support so they can help you switch over to your new account.

Make sure you add proof of ownership of your accounts so they can speed up the process.

Thanks for the quick response.

I can access both manychat accounts.

My account was already created with my profiles.

But I had a client I wanted to to add.

So i added their account through facebook business manager but realized I wanted the client to have access to account but I would be a “manager” of it. 

So then I created their account under their email.

When I tried to add Instagram, under their account, it said I needed to request access. We never received any access request notification.

I was also never able to add their instagram or facebook account to my account either.

I would get the same “request access” message. But no access request was sent.

I am not thinking the client needs to add their own social accounts and I simply manage it from their login.

But I keep getting the same access request message with no request sent.

What do you think?

What I usually do is that I’ll have my clients create their own Manychat account and connect FB/IG, and then they’ll add me and my team as Admins on that account.

That way they have full control, and we have full access (this is less risky - if my Facebook profiles becomes compromised, it doesn’t jeopardize my clients’ accounts).

In your case, I’d sit down and map out the accounts and Manychats that you have and try to make sense of it, making sure the business owner is the owner of the Manychat account, and you as agency/contractor have access to it, but are not the owner…

That is what I decided to do after I had already begun adding their account to mine.

I am working with support now to see if we can untangle the mess.
