Can't connect to business page

I’m trying to connect my business page. I have confirmed all permissions via my personal facebook page. My business portfolio comes up as an option in the drop down menu but I can’t select it. It’s greyed out. I’ve gone through the troubleshooting process on Manychat but I can’t seem to get any further than this.

This issue of yours can happen due to a few specific Meta permission requirements that might not be fully visible at first glance.

 

Here are a few steps you can take to (maybe) solve this:

1. Verify Full Control Access

Sometimes you might have admin permissions, but Meta separates them into "Facebook Access with Full Control" and "Task Access". Manychat requires Full Control to connect properly.

 

2. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If the Business Portfolio has a security policy that requires Two-Factor Authentication, Meta will grey out the asset if your personal Facebook profile does not have 2FA enabled.

  • Check your personal Facebook security settings and ensure 2FA is active.

  • Check the Business Portfolio security settings within Meta Business Suite to see if 2FA is required for all members.

 

3. Deep Refresh via Incognito Mode

Sometimes old session data or browser cache blocks the connection interface from updating properly.

  • Open an Incognito/Private window in your browser.

  • Log into Manychat and try the connection flow again.

  • IF the Facebook permissions pop-up appears again, click on Edit previous settings and ensure all pages and portfolios are explicitly selected.

 

If you have gone through these steps and the portfolio remains greyed out, it might be an isolated connection error that needs a direct review. Hi ​@Fabio Gaulke I'm having a similar issue...after connecting my linked IG to A FB page and business portfolio - my permissions got removed - trying to refresh it brings up an error page.

All my automations are currently down, I need to resolve this asap...what should i do? 

Looking at the link you attached, I still cant find where to submit a ticket...can you help somehow? 

I would really appreciate it 🙏

Thanks so much for your help. I’m still having the same problem. My account was restricted from advertising 18 months ago an indefinietly blocked - would that have anything to do with it? I’ve done all the points you’ve suggested.
