Hello everyone, I need some urgent help with an Instagram–Facebook–Manychat connection issue.

My Instagram account is currently linked to a Facebook page that was automatically created by Facebook when I switched my Instagram account to a business account. This page was not manually created, it does not belong to any real Facebook profile, and I do not have any way to access it.

Because of this, I am completely stuck:

Manychat keeps asking me to grant permission to that Facebook page in order to proceed.

On the website version of Manychat, I cannot access Settings to disconnect/remove the page.

On mobile, I can log in, but on the website I am blocked by the error message.

Since the page was auto-created by Facebook, there is no “admin” I can request access from — the page doesn’t actually belong to anyone.

Here is the message I see:

“The Instagram account is already Connected. Please switch your Instagram account to continue, or request access from the administrator of the page.”

But the issue is: there is no administrator because this page was auto-generated by Facebook.

👉 My question is: How can I disconnect or unlink this auto-created Facebook page from my Instagram/Manychat account, so that I can finally use Manychat normally?

In this case you'll need help from Manychat's Support Team. They are able to disconnect your IG Account from this “ghost account”.

Once you open the ticket, someone from the team will get in contact asking for information to assure the accounts are yours and help you with that issue.

I’ll open a ticket with the Manychat Support Team so they can manually disconnect my Instagram from this ghost page. Hopefully this will finally solve the issue.
