Can't get instagram messages to new followers working

Have tried following the docs a ton. Just getting a perpetual loop with facebook and instagram to connect it to Manychat. It’s connected, but manychat is saying it’s not enough.

 

Need help. It’s the primary reason I want to use Manychat.

    Hi ​@zackssiegel that usually happens when the account is connected through the quick method. Follow to DM only works if you connect via Meta, and for that your Instagram account needs to be in a Meta Business Portfolio.

    So I'd check how it's connected in Settings → Instagram. If it says Connect via Instagram, disconnect and reconnect choosing the Via Meta option.

    If it's already connected via Meta and you're still getting that message, tell us exactly what it says and we can go from there.
