this message show

Message flow doesn’t exist To use a message flow from Manychat, you need to first create and save a message flow on Manychat.

Hey, all! 😁

The documentation here is the way I do it (and it works): https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281321942428-Instagram-Ads-Trigger

Important things:

  • The first message should only be text/emojis and must have at least one Quick Reply.
  • Check if the trigger is active before going to Meta Ads.
    • It only activates if you set the first message block right up.
    • If Meta Ads is already open, refresh the site after activating the trigger.

Hope it helps!

Same problem here, did you ever find a fix?

I was also having the same problem. When Manychat was connected only with the Instagram profile, it was giving an error. I connected it with Messenger as well, and it worked! I tried with two profiles that were having this problem, and after doing that, I succeeded!

Same problem here. I can’t disconnect Messenger or Instagram from ManyChat because that would delete all the contacts.

In FB Ads, I’m selecting only Messenger as the platform and although we’re able to select ManyChat as the partner app, there are no flows to select from. The trigger on ManyChat is active.

We still have the same problem. Connected Instagram and Facebook Messenger.
Any solutions?

Double check that the first message in your flow is a quick rely, sometimes that is the issue

Has anyone solved this problem? I get the same issue. I’m also getting an issue when I try and turn on my trigger that says, “Don’t use more than one content block in the first message to set up facebook ads”

My trigger is “a user clicks a facebook ad”.

Thanks

@Wat @renegade13 @odysilica @Jamie Rossi  @Ronan @kostianification @KDK @jayc

Just do this 👇🏼

Step 1: Create Manychat flow and attach the keyword trigger, Ex. If someone message you the word “Guide” the flow will trigger!

Step 2: Create FB ad campaign with engagement objective or Message objective where people have to message you.

Step 3: Setup the campaign and create this kinda message template which will tell the users to Message you the word “guide” to get the details. (Refer attached image)

Step 4: When people do that, manychat keyword will trigger and that’s it.

Sure that could work but that is not the flow I am trying to do unfortunately. As mentioned, I’m trying to trigger the flow on message click. And regardless it doesn’t make sense why fb is giving this error

Edit.  I got it working.  I only chose messenger, no instagram.  I also made sure the first message had a button.  you can not add actions, filters, etc before the first message.  The first message must be basic.  text and one button

I refreshed my permissions and that did the trick and then the flows started popping up.   So appears to be a permission/connectivity issue.

Thanks! The smart delay was messing it up. Is there any way I can delay it a few seconds to see if they complete the booking before I send them a message?

Unfortunately, no… the first message + Quick Reply is always sent immediately. There's no way to set a delay before it.

There's a problem with the ManyChat service.

My ad flows were working perfectly, but suddenly I can't select the JSON partner in Meta Ads.

Here I show how it worked for me previously, or the posts I have active with that configuration.
