Cant connect manychat to IG account

Take a look at Settings/ Instagram and check if the right account ist connected:

Saw some cases where the wrong IG account was linked to Manychat 😅

But if the connected channel is all ok, check if you have activated all your automation triggers.

Also, if possible, send some screenshots from your automation triggers. This could help us to see if something's missing.

Thanks for your reply. I think when I first set up Many chat, I “skipped” the bits where it said connect it to Facebook. Then I saw another training and it said you have to connect Manychat through Facebook. 

So it could be that I have not set it up correctly. Do you know how I get back to the page where it asks me to connect it through FB. I hope that makes sense!

Yes it is connected to my Instagram. But also do I need to set up a Business account in Instagram in order for many chat to work?

Seems you're not the Manychat account owner… If you contact this user, you can tell to remove the Instagram Channel from that Manychat Account in order to reconnect it all over again and fix your issues.

And, yes, change your IG account to business. This will help to get better insights and also configure it in Meta Business Suite.

That said, I'd suggest creating a Business Portfolio and connect you IG account and FB page to it. This will make your life easier in the future.

After that, try connecting via the Meta Business Suite option and select the BM you've created with both IG/FB.

This has a chance to solve your problem.

I am definitely the Manychat account user, I set it up!!! Or tried to set it up! It shouldnt be this difficult. Thanks for the reply.

And, yes, in the past years, Meta has made any type of integration much more complex. Manychat needs to adapt to it and, sometimes, things break because of that. 

I have some Manychat accounts since 2018. Every 2/3 years I have to do something like this (reconnection) to be able to use new features or because things aren't working.
