Am I able to collect contact info on free version using DM’s or do I need pro version, and if possible with free version can someone direct me on how I would set that up to collect say their email. Thank you.

Collecting contact info
You are basically asking if it is possible to collect contact name, number, email etc within manychat with their dedicated dropdown menu and to be able to map theses later on to a connected let’s say google sheet. It is the exclusive PRO Data collection feature.
I have this feature running and working smoothly since one year now, and the use by clients is basically zero.
For this PRO feature you need the PRO version.
But you can collect otherwise too, just ask in a sequence delayed by time for their name, number and email. Or just in one go. Merge an store all this in one variable and send it over to lets say make.com or n8n via http request. Your AI tool you connect can then store it in a google sheet.
I did not try it myself yet, because i am on PRO but thats how you collect questions for an AI from inside of Manychat assuming people pinch in their answers with a few sends.
