I am running an automation of comment reply that isn’t working properly. Sometimes, it works, sometimes, it doesn’t. Same posts, same trigger words. I already refreshed the permissions but it didn’t change anything. The leads comment but it doesn’t iniciate the automation (only half the time). Trying to talk to someone on support for days but it is impossible!

Hey @ianmarconi

I’m sorry to hear that!

Sometimes, Meta has some limitations, and Manychat is unable to send the automation to those contacts. For example, if a user comments on your post/reel and that user has some restrictions given by Meta, Manychat can’t send them the automation.

How many days did you contact Manychat's support?

The same issue is going on with my account as well and ManyChat’s resolution is generic and useless. Support response was also absolutely not helpful.

@ianmarconi and @vrush_coj Manychat support is facing a high volume of open tickets, but I assure you they will answer all of your questions to resolve the issue you’re facing!

My problem is that the automation works only half way.
It sends the first message, but it doesn’t send the next one when it should be triggered by the follower’s DM response.

How to fix it?

Thank you :)

Can you show a screenshot of your automation flow @MalaMía?

Thank you @rodrigo_silvano
Here it is. The language inside the “boxes” is in Spanish. But I think the workflow it’s clear.
It had worked sometimes though. Not sure what the problem is.

Thank you @MalaMía!

So, after the comment, Manychat sent your first message to 27 people, of which 10 clicked the button and they received the second message. Then, only 5 people put their email on the second message.

Apparently, it seems correct 🙂

Based on your screenshot, the only “problem” is that the majority of people doesn’t clicked the button. Try to add an A/B test using the “randomizador” for the first message.

Something like (translated using ChatGPT):

“Hola! He visto tu comentario pidiendo actualizaciones sobre nuestros próximos conciertos y noticias sobre nuestra música. 🎸

Haz clic en el botón para incluirte en la lista.

Button: [Quiero formar parte 🕺🏼]”

Let me know if this helps! 🙌🏼

Thank you @rodrigo_silvano !! I’ll do that.

Also, I attached a screenshot where they clicked on the button and the automation didn’t work. I had to answer manually.
Not sure why that happened. Any thoughts? :)
Thanks!

Same or similar happens to me. It seems people are copy/pasting the response from the button instead of clicking. No idea what causes that, maybe older version of Meta applications (Facebook, Instagram), but this happens for me at least on 1/5 of users.

@NicoleZvR

Yes, that’s sounds like something that might have been happening. Thank you!!! :)

I just added a clear CTA saying “click in the button below 👇”.

I hope that helps!
