CONFIRMED_EVENT_UPDATE tag removed by Meta

Hey ​@sami CalendarApp ! For appointment reminders on Messenger, check out Utility Message Templates. Manychat now documents these for non-promotional appointment and event updates, including messages sent outside the 24-hour window.

The setup is:

1. Go to Settings → Messenger → Utility Message Templates and create a reminder template.
2. Include the appointment details using custom fields, and submit it to Meta for approval.
3. Once approved, select “outside 24-hour window” in your automation’s message node, then choose Utility Message Template as the content type.

For example: “Hi [name], a reminder that your appointment is on [date] at [time], at [location].”

Keep it specific to the appointment already booked, without adding an offer or promotion. Here’s the official setup guide.

Or you can use WhatsApp and send the message straight to the phone (also using approved templates).
