Hi everyone,

I’m having some trouble with conversation starters in ManyChat and was wondering if anyone else has run into this.

I currently have two conversation starters working fine, but I’m trying to add another one that’s pretty important to my business. The issue is:

  • When I try to edit the response of the new conversation starter, it doesn’t let me build out the automation.

  • Once it goes to the Routing tab, I can’t set the trigger as “Conversation Starter.”

  • It basically stops me from connecting it to the flow I need.

Has anyone experienced this before? Am I missing a step, or is this a bug?

@Mellomelodies First, create and publish the chat flow. Then, link the conversation to the existing flow.
