Hey there, what could be the issue if my contact’s conversation won’t appear in the live chat?
Whats the issue here? Are there problems with WhatsApp Business numbers for instance? Can only access after clicking on “contacts”

WhatsApp Business messages are normally received in Manychat. What might be happening is that there are some filters in the inbox. It's worth checking whether the messages are actually not coming through or if they are, but just not being displayed.
You can select to show all conversations (yours and your team’s) and also all statuses (open or closed). Here’s a screenshot to help you:

If you manage to find the message (for example, if it was marked as closed), there are a few things you can do to avoid missing messages in the future:
1. Go to Settings > Live Chat Behavior and check the option “Any message starts a conversation”.
This will ensure that every time someone sends you a message, a new conversation is opened.
2. You can create a Default Flow, where you define exactly what should happen. For example:
- Step 1: Mark the conversation as open
- Step 2: Assign it to team member X
To set this up, go to Settings > select the desired channel (e.g., WhatsApp) > Default Reply. There, you can select a flow that includes these actions.
Keep in mind that when a default reply flow is set, every time a contact sends a message and they are not in another flow or triggering another automation, they will be routed to this default flow.
