Data Collection block for 'Date' not working anymore

The title is self explanatory.

 

I’ve had this data collection block for months (collecting “dates” from customers) Worked just fine.

 

Today, out of the blue, it stopped working. I even created a “test flow” to make sure the data collection wasn’t working…

 

 

Anyone else facing the same issue?

    By the way, I just made a workaround for this.

    I’ve created an external request to help´me out. Here’s the catch:

    1. User inputs the date
    2. My flow captures this date in a Data Collection block. The date is, actually, stored as a “text” custom user field. I make sure my customers type the date exactly as dd/mm/yyyy (i ask them “did you type your date as dd/mm/yyy”?. Works most of the time)
    3. I made an external request (using ChatGPT, yay) that translates this “text” to, well, “date”, and saves this date in another custom user field of type date.

    This solution is good for Whatsapp too. For some reason, we can’t collect dates on Whatsapp flows. 

     

    If anyone needs help trying to build this, please reach me out. Lets help each one out, since Manychat’s support is non-existent.
