Default reply automation won't trigger

Hi everyone,

I am having an issue with my whatsapp automation. 

It is a very basic automation where i have the default reply set which then triggers a couple whatsapp messages to our customers and thats it. I only use the default reply as I want the automation to trigger no matter what the customer says. 

However, the automation has stopped firing when someone messages. I have used AI to try and figure it out and after checking everything it said to ask manychat directly for help. 

My default reply is set to:

Live and Published
Message ‘every time, not once every 24 hours”

Definitely toggled on and green 

 

I don’t understand why it is not firing eventhough everything is set up properly but it’s suddenly stopped working. 

Any help would be appreciated,

    Do you have enough credit in your Wallet to send WhatsApp messages?

    Meta changed its pricing rules, and messages are now charged individually, except for messages sent through Click-to-WhatsApp ads and your first 1,000 service messages.

    Can you confirm whether you have credit in your Wallet or have sent fewer than 1,000 service messages this month?

      I have already looked into this new change and I have definitely not sent or received anywhere near 1000 messages this month

      I made a similar post to this one as not only is the automation not firing but I also can’t message through manychat as it says I don”t have enough funds

      Any further support would be much appreciated

      Hey ​@Theogekatex you need to have funds on your wallet for messages to work, even if you’re still in the first 1000 free messages.

      I suggest you try to add $10 to the wallet and see if this makes it better…

      If that’s the issue, messages will start working, but you should not be charged since you’ll be within the first 1000.
