Hi,

We have WhatsApp Automations and had always used smart delays in them. Now we are not able to update the Automations because we get this error message: Set Delay duration of less than 24 hours for delivering the next messages. Do you have similar experiences? And how can it be fixed?

@Ismael this seems to be a Manychat bug, since your automation looks 100% compliant ;)

Report to support so they can take a look at it.

As a workaround, you can split it up into more than one flow.

So, do the 24 hours delay, and then instead of sending the message, use the ‘Start Automation’ step. Put the next message on the separate automation and continue from there.

This will let you bypass any checks that Manychat has, and keep you from getting errors ;)

@Ismael would you have a screenshot of the message?

And the message after 24 hours, is it set as a normal message or as a template message?

Could it be that Manychat started checking the 24 hours rule in WhatsApp, and you’re not using a Template message?

@Gustavo Boregio

Here is the screenshot of the automation.

The messages before and after the delays are message templates.

There are only messages wich are not templates after an action like a button click.

@Ismael Correct. While you cannot send a standard message after the 24-hour window, you are permitted to use a Meta-approved template after 24 hours have passed.

@samar We do have templates in the automations

You have to approved it first from meta.

Then you can map it out in automation.

We do have them all approved. But only have regular messages after a button click. Because after a button click there will be a 24 hour window opened from manychat again.
